Blocking of registration "Digital Object Identifier" by DOI of the related publication
Irregularly the field "Digital Object Identifier" is misunderstood and not left open for the new DOI to be registered.
Sometimes the DOI of the publication belonging to the research data is entered there. As a result, no new DOI is registered for the record. The DOI then refers (for example from ROBIS) not to the RODARE record, but to the publication page of the publisher.
Solutions could be to no longer display the field or to allow only certain types of DOIs.
