Landing page: review title and text
There are 3 main ways for users to get access to Helmholtz Cloud and services therein:
- User goes to
cloud.helmholtz.de
and sees the landing page.
1.1 Short intro text on what is Helmholtz Cloud about (it's already there)
1.2 Animation: For me it is generally fine, but I think it should be either- rather small and unobtrusive (and takes low cpu power)
- possibly bigger and more eye-catchy if it provides additional information; I could think of a teaser/animation of fancy Helmholtz cloud services. But we don't have it so far...
- User comes from a Helmholtz cloud related page (can be hifis.net, but probably also a link from documentation...)
- That page tells the user "click here to log in and get access to Helmholtz Cloud"
- In that case the user should not need to see and parse another in-between landing page, but instead directly go to the actual portal: login -> service list.
- Trivially, the user can access the services directly (using AAI), thus bypassing TP.
So, the purpose of title and text of the landing page is, to give a brief information to public visitors what this page is about.
