Therefore we need a kind of news slide show.
The services page currently lists all available services. We anticipate that:
Rather than have the user scroll through the complete list of services, the service page should allow the user to select specific software product name as a filter. Once a software filter has been provided by the user, the service page is updated to show only services that make use of that software.
Once a filter has been selected, the user should be able to modify the filter. The page is updated to show only services that use the updated software name.
The user should also be able to remove the filter. Once the filter is cleared, the services page will show all services available to that user.
The landing page contains example kinds of services: service classes. A service-class is a collection of services grouped together because they all used the same software to implement that service. For example the "OpenStack" service-class is the group of all services that provide an IaaS service by running the OpenStack software.
Currently, these service-classes are shown on the landing page as boxes containing information about the service-class. This includes the logo of the software project and the software's name.
These service-class boxes should be updated to include "hot text" or other clickable features that allow the user to navigate to the services page, where the services page shows only those services in that service-class.
This issue may depend on #42 to generate the correct service page.

Currently, all requests to the backend are made directly from the frontend webapp running inside the browser. In this case, to make authenticated calls to the backend the access token has to be stored on the client side, which could be accessed by malicious code. Instead, make the call to the frontend server which then relays it to the backend and can add the access token if necessary.

Dedicated COmputing REsources for the Helmholtz AI community

This service offers dedicated computing resources (NVIDIA A100 GPUs) as part of the Helmholtz AI project. The resources can be accessed using an interactive shell (SSH) and batch system, or via JupyterHub. Usage is free-of-charge for all researchers working on ML/AI projects within Helmholtz. Project consulting and support by dedicated Helmholtz AI consultants is provided using a voucher system.
