About this request
Knowing the acceleration voltage is important for many electron microscopy measurements
Semantic issues
Multiple terms are used like "High Tension", "accelerating voltage", etc. to refer to the same parameter. Also used in microwave cavities and particle accelerators.

- label_en: acceleration voltage
- definition_en: A voltage to accelerate electrons, which are emitted from the electron gun and illuminate a specimen. This voltage is a voltage applied between the cathode and the final electrode of the acceleration tube. It is also used to refer to the voltage used for accelerating the ions from a focussed ion beam source, if applicable. Units normally used- kV
